Orange You Glad It's Monday?

Mondays are depressing. I have today off and I'm still depressed. To make myself feel better I found a cool room to oogle over and imagine it being in my own (future) home. Orange strips and black and white chevron? I feel better already....

I'm thinking this look is perfect for an entryway. If it were my space I'd keep the basics of the room above (assuming my future perfect entry has a window). I'd use  Benjamin Moore paint in Pumpkin Cream for the stripes and a chevron fabric for the window treatment :

I'd use this as an entry rug:

I would hang my keys and coat on a few of these wall hooks.

I'd substitute the round wood table for this 

acrylic console instead:

And underneath I'd place two of these to keep a natural element and balance out the modern console:

On top of the table I'd place some of these little guys 

(perhaps spray painting one of them gold) and this tray to hold my mail:

Above the table I'd hang a couple of these:

(framed in chunky black frames of course)

And to light up the presidents I'd use a coupla' these bad boys :

And next to the table I'd place a ladylike chair, reupholstered in velvet fabric,

and adorned with this accent pillow:
