Friday Love Fest

Here are the goodies that caught my eye this week. Have a good weekend!

I love storage. I don't even care if I don't have anything to store in a storage piece. I just like the thought of it.  This is a really great piece. The color is lovely (a greeny gray taupe) and the molding details are a nice touch. I think this piece could also work well in an office. The small shoe cubbies could be used for mail or small baskets and the boot cubbies could house larger papers/binders/etc.

This. Kitchen. Is. Gorgeous. I love white kitchens for their versatility and their simplicity and the addition of marble to a white kitchen will always be a good idea. O'Brien Harris up'd the fancy factor by adding an aged pewter hood and created a focal point by wrapping the cooking area with stainless.

Call me whitetrash but I love a good Duncan Hines Confetti Cupcake. Lately I've been making them and foregoing the icing (the horror!). Because I don't eat animal products I swap out the eggs for Ener-G Egg Replacer. Best part of not using real eggs? You can eat the batter without the fear of getting sick!

This is probably one of the best ideas for a party I've ever seen. All white interior with blood splattered everywhere. Test tubes with blood red liquor. Wall art that is meant to represent cross sections of the brain.

Doesn't it just make you happy looking at it?

This piece of furniture is from a blog that has recently made my list of daily reads (speaking of which...I need to update my Blog Lovin list.) Emily A. Clark has great everyday decor ideas that are traditionally classic. This dresser she painted green was the main reason I started to follow her!

From time to time I will see a pair of these and try them on. I never buy them. I think I like the idea of them more than the wearing of them. They look super cute with skinny jeans but every time I try them on I have the hardest time getting them off and for that reason alone I do not purchase them. Someday though I will. Just so I can set them in my entryway and look super chic.

Quirky Kitchens
I admire lived-in and personally styled kitchens. People who style a kitchen for no one but themselves are the best stylists in the world.

Black & White Botanical Prints
These have been popular for awhile but I don't care.

Brick Walls & White Bedding
I've always wanted an apartment with a brick wall. It's just one of those things that can be hard to find in certain areas. Maybe someday...sigh....
