The Perfect Powder Room

I love that powder rooms make some people think out of the box.  I wish more people would walk through my door and request sea creature paper all over their walls and shell mirrors. Seriously peeps, I do. Sometimes I take a secret mental nappy nap while people are telling me their dreams to keep their spaces neutral. Yawn.

I personally think this is one of the most "ta da!" powder rooms I have ever seen. I crave rooms that make me slightly dizzy and nervous. Confusion of the senses! I'd probably have done a bigger mirror to make the space more obnoxiously lovely but whatev. My designs don't have Elle decor stamped on them so maybe I should keep my trap shut...

Yeah, yeah, pepto pink walls and shells. I just like shells (in small doses). Ever been shelling at 7am in the morning? It's just about the most fantastic thing you will ever do in your life. Google it.

I love a pedestal on some chrome legs. So clean & sterile. Just how I like my men (Wait...whaaaat?) And that python mirror combined with that wallpaper? As all the cool blogger gals say, That's ridic.

I really like wood paneling. That is still a phrase that startles me every time it comes out of my mouth. My mother has wood paneling in her home. It's awful 70's ish looking knotty pine. I'm hoping if I tell her it's awful enough she will develop a complex and feel so embarrassed by it that she paints it. I'll keep you updated on my progress with that.

This is truly different and interesting. You can slap some kookie wallpaper up any day and yes, it will look fab, but to play around with scale and objects like this room does makes it feel like an art form.
