Who Needs Function?

I check Craigslist everyday for apartments. And everyday I see apartments with very lovely vintage elements but with "updated kitchens." And by "updated" I mean a landlord's hideous vision of what "updated" should look like. I would much prefer the original kitchens. Like this one of these for example. I have already mentally moved in. Tiny range and refrigerator? Yes, but seriously, I cook like two things. One happens to be tomato soup. What do I need full size appliances for? And do you see those cabinets and that old sink? To. Die. For. I've already (in my mind) purchased Anthropologie-esque cabinet hardware, a bright colored wall paint, and a chevron print rug.   

 When I move in I'll invite you over for a cup of tomato soup. It'll be grand.
