Okay, I'm super excited that I came up with that post title. It's creepy. But I'm still excited about it. So I like the idea of open pantries for a few of reasons (get your mind out of the gutter...I said pantry).
1. It forces you to be organized.
2. You can buy pretty containers to house all your kitchen goodies.
3. You (I) can give in to your (my) sick obsession of labeling things.
It doesn't matter if it's open wood shelving, an industrial metal rack or a pantry closet with a glass door. I dig them all.
Treat your pantry like any other room....with wallpaper!

Painted metal shelving helps soften the look and makes it look less like a restaurant kitchen.
Would this make you feel super obligated to color coordinate? Yellow, white, orange and blue?
