Oh, just my new (used) dresser and desk I bought!!

If you remember I was sad about not having the means to pick these fantastic items up, and then I was happy because I decided to go see them anyways. And now I'm ecstatic because I own it! It was a cinch to move (thanks to my friend Matt and his ginormo truck) and now I am clearly in the midst of trying to figure out how to organize and make it all work. The dresser is the perfect height and width to use as a tv console which is amazing because I was in desperate need of one anyways. The desk is proving to be a little more difficult because the Ikea top I used as a desk before was 60" wide x 30" deep and this desk is 44" wide x 18" deep. A little bit of an adjustment.... Especially for a gal who loves stuff all over her desk. Edit, edit, edit....

I will also eventually paint the desk (it's definitely the more beat up of the two)  so it's not so matchy matchy to the dresser. I'm going to hold off on picking a color though. I usually rush to paint stuff but I'm gonna take my time on this bad boy. Part of me wants to paint it neutral but then the other part of me wants to go bold.....So conflicted.
