Weekend Recap

A little late but here's a few bits and pieces from my weekend....

I found a new coffee table!!

My original vision included a glass top with a brass base but alas I have yet to stumble upon one that fits both my taste and my budget. This lady presented herself to me at the Salvation Army. $45 seemed a tad high but I fell in love with it. Original thoughts were to paint the wood base but I'm thinking of now leaving it as is. On a side note, has anyone noticed that Salvation Army prices are pretty high? I know this same table would be like $20 at Goodwill.

I purchased more pink items in attempt to infuse more pink in my life!!!

I got a couple of new throw pillows to replace some dingey ones on my sofa!

Started taping off a few old Ikea mirrors in my bathroom. Taping a chevron pattern sucks it big time when you're an impatient paint taper offer.

And Jeremy the cat had some free time out in my apartment. Poor guy was desperate to get out of his home in my bathroom and parked it right by the window!

But then this little she-devil chased the poor guy....

And I had to put him in a dog crate so she wouldn't kill him :(

I also found out my bed will not "work" without the headboard and frame attached to it so I am now on the hunt for a super cheap metal bed frame. I flat out refuse to pay more than $30 fot it. I did slack a bit with painting my desk. I just started the prep work..... Why am I such a lazy person when it comes to a to-do list?
