So I have continually been hesitant to post anything work related on this blog. Yes, I am an interior designer. No, I don't work independently. If I did own my own business I'd be work blogging up an motha effing storm about it. For fun (and extra dough) I do paint consultations and whatnot for friends and friends of friends but for a livin' I do kitchens, bathrooms, etc. Big time remodeling stuff. My company has a blog and a Facebook page but I'm thinking I might slowly share some of my work projects on here. Slowly and sporadically.
My main reason for saying this is because yesterday I wanted to punch this guy in the face and needed to vent more specifically about it:
My client was going for an overall Pottery Barn look so I specified three of these fellas for their spare bathroom. The project (minus the wall sconces) finished up end of December. We still don't have these sconces up because they kept going on backorder. Well, they were finally supposed to ship out this past Friday and guess what? I got an email over the weekend informing me the company was very concerned with prompt shipping so my fixtures will be leaving the warehouse February 28th.
Uh, wha?
I need to punch something.
