Blue With Envy

I know everyone dissed on this issue of House Beautiful but I loved it. LOVED it. I don't care if certain sections were repeats or that it was a pink explosion of an issue. Everytime I sit down to have some coffee and watch some gossipy tv show I find myself opening this magazine to look at it yet another time. I just can't get enough.

I always find myself pausing at Ruthie Sommers home (like everyone else in the world). Her home is a color junkie's dreeeeeeeam. My favorite thing about her home is probably the powdery blue faux leather studded dining room doors.

Oh. My. God.

Not too long ago I saw a kitchen pantry cabinet in orange faux leather studded doors. Very reminiscent of Hermes boxes (which I loathe by the way). For the longest time I couldn't get that look out of my head. Pale blue brings it to a whole other level!
