Today's post makes me laugh. Not because I'm necessarily making fun but because I compare this 20- something brother and sister duo to my brother and me and I just have to shake my head at how different we are.....Kari and Kirby each live in a 6,100 square foot penthouse on the 29th floor of the W in Dallas, Texas. Their father "stepped in" to "scoop" up the penthouse units for the kiddies and the redecorating began. Both siblings had their must-haves for their units:

Ah yes, a baby grand piano. My baby grand piano just barely fits into my 600 s.f studio but I have to have it... And my apartment overlooks a parking lot. So scenic and gorgeous. Would you like a beverage? You would? What would you like? I have 3 coffee makers, 2 blenders, and some bananas. Just let me know your poison and I'll have my maid whip something right up!

I so agree. Sometimes I just want to close my own blackout drapery and run on my treadmill to de-stress. It's so exhausting to keep up with the daily grind; the tennis shoe collecting, the wearing of the baseball hats, the agonizing daily decision of where I should sit in my living room. I mean...Between the island seating, the dining table seating, and the living room furniture I have 15 options!
Okay, so maybe this post was me making fun of the sibling duo. The designs above are beautiful but I guess I appreciate good design more when I know it's not just handed to someone. You know?
